Benson Boone’s backflips weren’t the only thing catching the audience’s attention. The 22-year-old singer took the Coachella stage in two custom looks by Dolce & Gabbana, one of which was decked out in Swarovski crystals.

His opening ensemble consisted of a custom cotton gabardine sleeveless jacket and wide leg trousers accented with gold buckle details and buttons. The star accessorized with a leather belt with a gold Devotion Heart buckle.

Boone then changed into a custom printed lurex long sleeve bodysuit with flared pants completely adorned with Swarovski crystals and a custom velvet regal cape with train trimmed in faux fur and bijoux jewelry. He added a leather belt with silver hardware.

Best Venue for Fashion: Red Bull Mirage

Red Bull made its big Coachella debut with the Mirage, a 20,000-square-foot structure that was the place to see and be seen during the festival. The multilevel party spot hosted festival goers while they took in sets on the Quasar stage by Tiësto, Odd Mob and more.

But it was truly the fashion that couldn’t be missed. Charli D’Amelio rocked an all-black lace and fringe set on day one, baring her midriff and showing off cute braids. Cardi B made an appearance on day two in an all-black look of her own, rocking lace-up leather pants and a black tee. She wore her black hair down and in a middle part.

Best Y2K Aesthetic: Queen Latifah and Tyla

The Y2K fashion resurgence is going strong. Queen Latifah joined Megan Thee Stallion on stage in a simple black outfit, but turned up the heat with a ’90s-inspired hairstyle and accessories. Tyla, meanwhile, opted for an itty-bitty vintage Dolce & Gabbana look from 2000 and an array of Pandora jewelry, including hoop earrings decked out in her favorite shark tooth charm (the “Water” singer was named the brand’s new ambassador before her performance). “It was just really fun to wear that outfit,” said Tyla of her stage look while speaking with PEOPLE after her sexy debut.
