Sutton Stracke Is Giving Garcelle Beauvais ‘Space’ After She Unfollowed Numerous RHOBH Cast Members

Sutton Stracke knows Garcelle Beauvais needs “space” after her decision to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After Beauvais, 58, unfollowed her RHOBH costars on Instagram last week, Stracke, 53, showed her support for her friend and former castmate.

“Garcelle has chosen to unfollow all of the Housewives,” the reality star told Page Six in a statement. “I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now. I love her and am giving her the space she needs.”

“I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success,” she continued.

Stracke’s comments come after Beauvais unfollowed her, along with former costars Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley and Bozoma Saint John. She is still a follower of Stracke’s event company, The Sutton Concept Events, while also following costars Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.

Last month, Beauvais confirmed she would be departing RHOBH in a surprise announcement after five seasons.

“I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Beauvais said in a video shared to her Instagram account. “It’s been a wild ride, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

The reality star went on to detail her reasons for leaving the Bravo series, saying, “One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that…And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon.”

Despite her decision to leave, she teased, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime.”

As season 14 of RHOBH came to an end, Beauvais was on the outs with her costars as she declined to take part in the cast photo at the reunion.

“I’m out,” Beauvais said as she shook her head before making her exit. “I’m not. I’m not.”

“Guys, I’m not doing this anymore. I don’t want cameras here,” she told production as she began changing out of her reunion dress. “And I never say I don’t want cameras. I’m always a team player. But this — there’s no team.”

Noting that she didn’t appreciate how her costars didn’t acknowledge how she took accountability for her actions to repair their friendships, she added: “Everybody jumped at me and I felt like I was on an island by myself. I can’t be friends with people like that, I can’t trust them. I don’t trust them and they obviously don’t like me.”

As she left, she noted, “I’m done. It’s been an amazing ride, I’m so grateful for the opportunity, but I’m done.”
