The release of the long-discussed movie examining the life story of MMA and UFC trailblazer Mark Kerr is rapidly approaching.
“The Smashing Machine” movie featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt and created by filmmaker Benny Safdie is set to release Oct. 3., and the first official trailer dropped Tuesday with a plethora of MMA themes and familiar faces.
Combat sports luminaries such as former two-division Bellator champion Ryan Bader, boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk and former UFC champion Bas Rutten are cast in the film, but the biggest showcase was the physical transformation that Johnson endured for the film, looking nearly unrecognizable from his normal self.
